Welcome to Al-Furqan Learning Centre, a dedicated institution committed to providing Islamic education within a nurturing and respectful environment. This comprehensive Registration Policy outlines the procedures, requirements, and expectations for enrolling students in our programs. We kindly ask you to carefully review this policy and contact our administration should you have questions or require clarification.
1. Eligibility: To enroll a student at Al-Furqan Madrasa, the following eligibility criteria must:
Age Requirements: Each student must meet the specified age requirements for their chosen program, as detailed in our program descriptions.
Parental Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians bear the responsibility for completing the registration process on behalf of their child.
Agreement to Policies: Parents and students must consent to adhere to the center's code of conduct, policies, and guidelines.
2. The Registration Process:
Registration Form: Obtain a registration form from our administration office or download it from our official website.
Accurate Information: Complete the registration form with precise and up-to-date information, including the student's full legal name, date of birth, and contact details.
Required Documents: Submit the completed registration form along with the necessary documents such as:
Proof of student identity (e.g., birth certificate or passport).
Emergency contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses.
Fees: Complete the registration process by paying the tuition fees. Detailed fee structures and accepted payment methods can be found on our website or by contacting our administration
3. Fees Payment:
Fee Structure: Detailed fee schedules are available on our website, and fees are due on the 1st of every month until the 5th of every month.
Late Payment: Failure to pay the program fee in full by the 5th of each month will result in a 10% penalty fee applied for each late payment.
Consequences: Unpaid fees may lead to student removal from the program. Timely fee settlement ensures a seamless educational experience for your child.
4. Damage to Property and Materials:
Respect for Property: Students are expected to show utmost respect for all property and materials belonging to Al-Furqan Madrasa, including books, equipment, facilities, and any other items.
Responsibility for Damages: Any damage to property and materials caused by a student due to negligence or misconduct will result in the student or their parents being held responsible for the repair, replacement, or associated costs.
Consequences: Failure to promptly address and cover the costs of property damage may result in disciplinary actions, which may include warnings, restrictions, or removal from the program, depending on the severity of the damage
5. Code of Conduct and Expectations:
Behavioral Standards: All students and parents must adhere to our center's code of conduct. This code encompasses expectations regarding behavior, attendance, dress code, and respect for fellow students, teachers, and staff.
Islamic Code: In addition, our center adheres to an Islamic code of conduct, encouraging students to embody honesty, kindness, and respect, while upholding the highest standards of morality and ethics.
Dress Code: The dress code mandates that students dress modestly and in accordance with Islamic principles. Clothing should be loose-fitting and free of logos or images contrary to Islamic values. Boys are required to wear trousers and a shirt, while girls should wear an abaya and a hijab.
Consequences: Non-compliance with the code of conduct can result in counseling sessions, meetings with parents, academic probation, suspension of extracurricular activities, suspension of privileges, or removal from the program. In extreme cases, students may be expelled from the program. All disciplinary actions are at the discretion of the center's administration and are enforced to protect the safety and well-being of all students.
6. Attendance and Punctuality:
Regular Attendance: Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time to optimize their learning experience.
Absence Reporting: In cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances, parents are requested to promptly notify the center for proper documentation and necessary
support. Continued absence may result in enrollment termination, as it can adversely affect a student's performance and disrupt the learning environment.
7. Withdrawal Policy:
Notification: Parents are required to notify the administration in writing should a student need to withdraw from the center, specifying the reason for withdrawal.
Refund Policy: Tuition fee refunds, if applicable, will be processed following our refund policy, available upon request. The refund policy stipulates:
Full refund with two weeks' prior written notice.
50% refund with one week's prior written notice.
No refunds with less than one week's prior written notice.
8. Parental Involvement:
Partnership: We encourage parents to actively participate in their child's Islamic education and engage in the center's activities.
Communication: Parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and regular communication channels are established to facilitate a strong partnership between parents and the center.
9. Privacy and Data Protection:
Data Handling: Al-Furqan Madrasa is committed to safeguarding the privacy of all students and parents. Personal information is handled strictly in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our privacy policy.
10. Amendments to the Policy:
Policy Updates: This policy may undergo periodic updates and revisions. Any changes will be communicated to parents well in advance to ensure awareness and compliance.
